Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), with support from WWF Nepal, is conducting a comprehensive research study on waste generation by trekkers, climbers, and tourism-related businesses in the Everest region. We are inviting applications for the following positions:

1️⃣ Consultant (Lead Researcher)

Interested individuals are requested to submit their application as per the Terms of Reference.

2️⃣ Research Assistant

Responsibilities:

Support secondary data collection, field data collection, and translation
Assist in surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions
Help with data entry and analysis

Qualifications:

Plus 2 or higher degree in any academic stream with fieldwork experience in remote/high-altitude areas
Fluent in Sherpa, Nepali and English
Knowledge of MS office
